Looking for a fun theatre group in Waltham Forest?

Pop along to a rehearsal to see how you could get involved with CADOS. We meet most Mondays and Wednesdays at Mornington Hall in North Chingford.

There are plenty of ways to join the fun:

  • Acting, singing and dancing as an active member

  • Supporting us as a patron member

  • Getting involved in devising, directing, choreography or music for production

  • Designing or operating sound and lighting

  • Co-ordinating marketing and design e.g. show flyers/programmes, social media or website

  • Being part of the production team organising sets, props, costumes etc.

  • Co-ordinating or assisting with Front-of-house

  • Helping to keep everything in good shape at our much-loved community venue, Mornington Hall.

Do you have a lifelong passion for theatre? Fancy trying something new? Or just want to feel a sense of connection and belonging? All are welcome – come along.

CADOS is many different things to different people. It’s a friendly, inclusive and diverse group of people who are committed to creating something very special. It’s a place where everyone can learn and grow. An outlet for so many creative passions - acting, singing, dancing, directing, sound, lighting, stage make-up or costume design. There is truly something for all of us!

Sue, CADOS active member

I was a painfully shy 7 year old when I first stepped onto a CADOS stage. But what a thrill it was! I got the am dram bug, and I'm still hanging around 25 years later! CADOS has given me so much confidence, pride and joy. I've done things 7 year old me wouldn't have dreamed of, and grown up surrounded by people who look out for each other and never lose their sense of fun!
