Community activities

Mornington Hall - a thriving community hub

Mornington Hall isn't just the home of CADOS. It's the heart of the Chingford community!

​

Our hall and studio are used by lots of other groups. They provide a wide range of activities and entertainment for people in the Waltham Forest area. These include:

  • Fitness classes

  • Childcare

  • Dance classes

  • Baby sensory

  • Tai Chi

  • And lots more.

CADOS volunteers maintain the hall so everyone has the opportunity to have fun, and improve their fitness and wellbeing. You can see some of our regular hirers below.

Young Stars

  • Theatre class for 7-16s set up by CADOS members.

  • Wednesdays 6.30-7.30pm.

Mini Athletics

  • A safe, fun environment to develop physical, social and cognitive skills .

  • Saturdays 9.50am - 11.25am (ages 2-7yrs, varying times depending on age)

Yellow Birds Play Academy

  • Breakfast, after school and holiday clubs for children.

  • Facilitating learning and development through play.

Baby Sensory

  • Multi-award winning programme for babies from birth to 13 months.

  • Tuesday mornings-early afternoons (times vary).

Chingford Folk Dance Club

  • Folk dancing to recorded music. All levels welcome. No partner needed.
