Next Auditionee Please

This production was a one-off home-grown show, devised through a series of workshops with the cast.

 

The story was based on members of a drama group auditioning for their next show. It featured imagined frictions between the Director, Stage Manager and Caretaker. A range of dances, songs and readings were performed as audition pieces. Then a final twist, courtesy of a surprise guest, gave the project a new energy and purpose.
